BIO

Justice and Maria have been living out their mission for the past 18 years, beginning as youth pastors and eventually founding Freedom Church. In 2011, they launched Freedom Church in their Los Angeles apartment with seven unchurched friends, driven by a passion to help people experience God in a way that keeps faith uncomplicated. To their amazement, God expanded their vision far beyond what they imagined, as the congregation rapidly outgrew homes and venues, with new people saying "YES" to Jesus every week. In 2012, Charisma Magazine recognized this incredible growth, naming Freedom Church one of the "Top 5 Fastest Growing Churches You’ve Never Heard Of." Discover more about Freedom Church here.

In 2022, Justice and Maria launched the Uncomplicated Podcast, driven by a desire to help their unchurched friends discover faith in Jesus. The podcast addresses real-life questions submitted by viewers, covering topics such as life, relationships, God, and the Bible. Learn more about the Uncomplicated YouTube Podcast here. Shortly thereafter, Uncomplicated Ministries was born, a non-profit dedicated to providing free Bibles and resources to those beginning their faith journey.
